If you use an automated applicator to apply labels to your product, you will need to know the appropriate wind direction for your label roll.
We’ve created a Label Direction Wind Chart to show you the ways that labels can come off a roll. In a wound out or outside peel roll, the labels are on the outside of the roll. Wound in or inside peel labels are on the inside of the roll. You can also choose which end of the label should lead the roll: top, bottom, right, or left. In the infographic below, you can see how this affects the print direction of your label’s copy and imagery.
Our Label Engineers can help you select the proper wind direction, as well as roll size, for your application.
